Niche market becomes more and more interesting for investors
Residences for students and the elderly, a market niche that is becoming increasingly interesting for investors, are multiplying in Barcelona. The Catalan group Atlàntida has announced the investment of twelve million euros in a new senior housing residency in the city.
2,000 square meter parcel
The construction of this future center on the Passeig Maragall has already started and the residency should be ready by spring 2021. For the center the group acquired a parcel of 2,000 square meters. The plan is to build a property of 4,000 square meters, divided into 7 floors. The residence will also have a garden and several terraces.
The center will be called Maragall Residencial and will have a total of 127 places, in addition to the 186 places the group offers between the existing centers Mas d’Angli and Mas Piteu.
